FLAMING QUEEN WEEKEND
July 4-7, 2019N/A
We are on our 8th annual "Flaming Queen" 4th of July event. We are going to start construction before spring and have her ready for decorating in the corral. She will stand over 15' tall and be made of wood and fabric. Everyone will sign a part of her with people to remember. She will burn Saturday night pond side. This has become a very big event you can't miss this. We will also be doing fireworks over the long weekend. This is our gay version of "Burning Man".
Burning Man is an annual week-long experiment in temporary community. Dedicated to anti-consumerism and self-expression, the Burning Man art festival, which attracted more than 35,000 participants in 2005, traditionally culminates with the burning of a large wooden sculpture of a man.
